Market Hours & Location
The Independence Farmer's Market will operate at the Independence Pavilion located in Downtown Independence on the first Saturday of every month from 8:30 A.M. – 1:00 P.M.
Vendor Rules & Regulations
Market is outdoors and will operate, rain or shine.
Vendor fees are $5.00 per 10’ x 10’ booth space.
Vendors must contact Greg Gray at (985) 351-1647, for an application and payment at least one (1) week prior to the first market you wish to attend.
Vendor booths must be set up by 8:30 A.M. or forfeit spot.
Vehicles must be removed from the market area and parked on the side street or on the north end of the Farmer’s Market thirty (30) minutes before the Market opens.
Vendors of fruits, vegetables, arts, hand-crafts, and other fresh produce grown or produced in the state of Louisiana is preferred, but not required; however the origin must be specified.
Vendors and their goods must be approved by Market Management.
Pricing of goods must be competitive with those items already being sold at the Market; quality of the product must be of the highest caliber. The product and its price will be checked upon arrival.
The Committee reserves the right to refuse space to a vendor.
Children must be under the direct supervision of an adult at all times.
Vendors must remain with their goods until the close of the Market at 1:00 P.M.
